year of the horse

initially this poster began as a tribute to cormac mccarthy's all the pretty horses, and was going to feature passages from the book and floral imagery inspired by the wildflowers of the southwestern US. but once i realized the lunar new year was approaching, i pivoted to a red horse-inspired design. the typeface for "this will be my year" is original but inspired by the birthdays design
